This goes back to the 17th of July, but just getting around to posting.

Wow, just wow. $147 for an oil change and tire rotation (albeit with synthetic oil)??? I told him my regular place charges $75 for the same thing. Told him that they had never called to let her know the car was ready; he said he had told her it would be ready at noon, which was not true. My girlfriend also said that it was hard to get anyone to acknowledge her arrival this morning, and it was the same thing just now. Didn't even look over our way and give a 'just a sec' signal or anything. Told him we had called a couple of times to see if it was ready, but the phone went to voicemail. Then he launched into how they were redoing a brake job that was botched by my usual place. I said, hey man, I'm just telling you what our customer experience here has been, how I'd been going to [my usual place] for 15 years, always a good experience, but wanted to give him a shot because it's just a block from the house. That's when he puts his hands up and says, "Enough! I've been here 20 years. Take your cars someplace else."
