Kolovitz Movers at 7122 Roosevelt Road, Oak Park, Illinois.

The movers arrived promptly at 8 a.m. and began wrapping furniture in protective sheets. They worked tirelessly hauling our possessions down three flights of stairs to their truck and were very careful not to damage any walls on the way down. The entire process took a little more than three hours.

They were going to use the back entrance right off the alleyway at our new place, but due to the extreme cold as of late the gate was completely blocked by ice. While most of the stuff they managed to get through the front door they encountered a problem with the couch and bed. The front stairwell was too narrow, so one of the guys worked for over an hour melting and breaking up the ice that blocked the back gate. While I'm sure this is not part of the job description they did it without complaint.

In the end the move took longer than anticipated at no fault of Kolovitz Movers. They were professional, friendly, and worth every penny. They made our move that much easier, and for that we are grateful. We will definitely be calling on them again the next time we have to move.
